Each year the program brings together some 25 bright and motivated students with a range of majors (e.g., medicine, engineering, business) and 12-14 volunteer teachers.
Volunteers include both ESL experienced teachers and those who are not trained in ESL but want to help with the program. The ESL instructors hold classes in the mornings while the others work with conversation groups, organize language games, and manage a lot of the logistics.
The goal for all is to have language learning a fun, cross-cultural learning experience.
