With Thanksgiving Holidays in the U.S. almost upon us, closely followed by Giving Tuesday, we’d like to first of all give thanks to you, our friends and donors, for believing and supporting our work and for all you have made possible for Maya students in Guatemala, Mexico and Belize already.
Each student’s graduation is a triumph not only for the student and family, but for all involved.
Going forward, please remember the Maya students in your year-end giving. Think of the young Maya women and men who are currently able to attend university only because they are receiving a MEF scholarship and also of those students who are applying for one, hoping to get accepted. Know that only students with good grades and excellent references from their teachers who are in dire economic need can apply. Once chosen, the student has our assurance of support until graduation.
